Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Supervisor

Summary: The supervisor of the Outpatient and Partial Hospitalization Programs communicates, monitors, leads and supervises the clinical and operational processes within the Outpatient and Partial Programs. This person has both clinical and administrative functions. This person is responsible to act as the supervisor in the absence of the Director.

Under the supervision of the Director as stated above, he/she provides clinical and administrative leadership to the Outpatient and Partial Programs and assures that all clinical and administrative services are delivered in accordance with the highest quality and standards. The Outpatient and Partial Program Supervisor, in conjunction with the Director, supervises outpatient clinicians, program interns, and program staff ensuring each individual performs their functions and carry out their responsibilities to the highest standards. The Outpatient and Partial Program supervisor also acts as a liaison to the family, school and community.

The supervisor will be responsible to assure that all administrative duties are carried out, namely, maintaining consumer data base, scheduling, confirming appointments for such meetings as partial consumer intakes and treatment plan reviews, discharge letters, other correspondence as assigned by Director. The Supervisor supervises staff on both clinical and administrative topics as deemed appropriate by program and funding source requirements.

Education: Minimum requirement is a Master's degree.

Experience:

• Three (3) years experience in human service organizations preferably behavioral health.
• One (1) year supervisory experience.
• License or license eligible preferred

Special Skills:

• Excellent working knowledge of clinical issues relating to children, adolescents and families.
• Good working knowledge of other systems that affect the Behavioral Health consumer.
