School Consultation and Education Specialist
Summary: This Mental Health Clinician provides
behavioral prevention, intervention and consultation services
to students, families, faculty and staff in identified clusters
in the School District of Philadelphia. The C&E Specialist
facilitates the identification of high-risk youths and provides
interventions and access to service for these students.
Under the supervision of the Director of School-Base Services,
the C&E Specialist assures that all C&E services are
delivered according to the highest quality clinical standards
and according to regulatory and funding source guidelines.
Responsibilities include communication, documentation, planning,
monitoring, direct service and networking
Education: Bachelor’s Degree required.
Experience:
- Minimum of two (2) years experience working with children,
adolescents and families in a CASSP system and within a
school setting.
- Minimum of one (1) year experience with Behavioral Intervention.
Special Skills:
- Knowledge of the Behavioral Health System.
- Ability to prepare and monitor paperwork
Other Requirements:
- Valid driver’s license and the willingness to drive
as needed.
- Requires flexible work schedule, evening and weekend hours
